During the event, there are cosmic signature sites that can be scanned down and hacked.

Fit up an Astero with a ton of armor plates, as many scrams/webs as you can (people will have a bunch of stabilizers), and a full flight of drones. Just get on top of them and stay on approach.

Scan down a site and go sit a few km below or above the can. Wait for someone to land and reach the can. Try to aggress right after their hacking window pops up (you'll see a small beam from their ship to the can). Try to aggress before the target is able to get the hack finished. The site will despawn after a minute or two even if the loot was not taken if the can was opened.

Most targets were T1 exploration ships or other Asteros. A few destroyers too (and the Astero can take them).

Be careful for other people sitting cloaked in the same spot and gangs of people (keep an eye on local).

Use DScan on short range 360 to see when someone's scanning probes are nearby so you can prepare for someone to land.
